Fundraising-Volunteer cheques or cash are required per family with skaters in Parent & Tot, PreCanSkate, CanSkate, PreSTARSkate, and STARSkate programs. Please make out a cheque in the amount of $150 and leave the date blank or provide cash. These cheques or cash will be returned or held over for the next season if both a fundraising and volunteer commitment is made. If you are unable to volunteer and fundraise, the $150 will be kept in lieu of a commitment. We thank you kindly for your donation to the club. Parent Volunteers are the foundation of any successful community organization! We have many available jobs. Volunteer sign up will be available the first week of programs as well as information on our fundraising. Volunteer and Fundraising checks/cash must be submitted the first day of programs. Skaters will not be allowed on ice until this requirement is met.
A Fundraising-Volunteer commitment is not required for skaters in the Power Skating programs.
The $62.00 Skate Canada Safe Sport Insurance Fee is mandatory for all skaters in all programs as well as any parents or guardians assisting a skater in Parent & Tot classes. The Skate Canada Safe Sport Insurance Fee is non-refundable and non-transferable to other people.
Our snow day cancellations will be made no later than 1 pm. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook (Ripley Huron Skating Club) and be sure to check our page for weather cancellations. An e-mail will also be sent out with weather cancellation information. Due to ice availability, missed days due to weather will not be rescheduled.
